Food Allergy TestingThe MNHC Naturopathic & Medispa Clinice offers our patients comprehensive allergy testing by means of a simple blood test. This blood test known as an IgG (Immunoglobulin G) tests for allergy to numerous different foods.

IgG antibodies are associated with “delayed” food reactions that can become worst over time and may contribute to different health problems. Food sensitivities can occur at any age, these sensitivities can trigger a variety of different symptoms and may also contribute to a variety of disorders. The IgG test helps to clearly identify those foods that may be causing health problems, helping to achieve positive outcomes sooner.

Food allergies have been linked to a wide range of medical conditions which may affect almost every part of the body and ranging from uncomfortable symptoms such as indigestion and gastritis, to more serious illnesses such as celliac disease, arthritis, and chronic infection. Food allergies have also been linked to central nervous system disorders including depression, anxiety, and chronic fatigue.

Over the years the number of people who have been affected by allergy has increased dramatically. Adverse food reactions and food allergies are now reported in approximately 25% of children and have been associated with numerous attention deficit disorders. Medical practitioners believe that food allergies are the leading cause of undiagnosed symptoms and 60% of Americans suffer from symptoms due to adverse food reactions.
