Enzo M. Diana is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and York University. Since graduation, Dr. Diana has established his practice as a Naturopathic Doctor through a number of clinics in Ontario, located in Ajax, Markham, Mississauga and Simcoe. While he has developed an eclectic practice, he has cultivated particular expertise in women’s issues, digestive disorders, Naturopathic Oncology, Fibromyalgia, preventive healthcare and more. Dr. Diana uses a wide range of treatment modalities including Homeopathy, Acupuncture and Nutritional and Botanical Medicine for the benefit of his patients.

Since 1998, Dr. Diana has acted as Simcoe’s first Naturopathic Doctor. His practice has expanded in Simcoe and Dr. Diana intends to continue to serve the community from his new and enlarged premises at the Natural Health Clinic & Educational Centre, 338 Norfolk Street, South, Simcoe Ontario.

Dr. Diana regularly contributes to articles on natural health topics in various journals and magazines and has appeared as a guest on CFRB Toronto and community broadcasts elsewhere. In addition, he conducts a series of lectures across the Greater Toronto and Simcoe areas.

Aside from running busy practices, Dr. Diana has embarked on a project to develop a line of 100% natural and organic supplements designed to treat a variety of disorders as well as writing a book on Naturopathic Medicine and Natural Health.

Dr. Liat Trop, B.Sc. (Hons.), ND - Naturopathic Doctor (Inactive Member)

Liat Trop ND

Liat Trop ND is a Naturopathic Doctor with a passion for improving people’s health. Liat obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology from York University graduating with honors. Liat then worked in Alzheimer’s research for over 2 years co-authoring various research publications. Following her passion for helping individuals improve their health, Liat completed a 4 year naturopathic medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine graduating with honors. Liat combines her passion for natural health with her strong research skills to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Liat’s special interests include but are not limited to pain management including fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, digestive concerns including irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease, women’s health issues, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Liat uses a range of treatment modalities including nutrition, homeopathy, herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, as well as acupuncture to improve the health of her patients. Liat is a member of Naturopathic Doctors Ontario and the Board of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy. Liat enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.

Nada Yehia-Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Yoga instructor. Nada graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and is member of CSNN Alumni Association, where she gained knowledge in preventative healing through the benefits of nutritious foods, mindset and lifestyle changes.

Her gentle approach incorporating mind, body and self-love is to promote empowerment within an individual to take ownership and realize their potential to achieve optimal health naturally.

Nada takes passion in working alongside clients towards achieving a healthy and balanced lifestyle with motivation and providing resources needed to create customized wellness plans that work for each individual.

She believes that everyone is both deserving and capable of living life optimally and looks forward to working with new clients towards greater health and well-being.

Louise Tong - Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist

Louise Tong is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist of “College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario” CTCMPAO as well as a member of “The Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture”.

Born and raised in Hong Kong grew up in a traditional Chinese cultural way of health and wellness.  From a young age, she had always been drawn to more holistic ways of healings and felt that these remedies needed a place in the modern day world.  With the desire to heal and a passion for natural medicine,  Louise decided to pursue her career.  She went to Guangdong, China and follow her uncle who is the supervisor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Department in the hospital.  After immigrated to Toronto, she attended a 4-year full time program and earned her Diploma of Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Diploma of Acupuncturist from Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  In addition to her formal TCM training, she has received continuing education trainings in specialized courses such as TCM Facial Rejuvenation and Body Sculpture, Tung’s Acupuncture,  The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada Continuing Education Seminar, Dr. Richard Tan’s Acupuncture.  She has been practicing in Toronto for more than 4 years.

Louise also uses other TCM modalities such as herbal therapy, cupping, moxibustion, nutritional advising, and acupressure. She treats each patient with a holistic approach and individual approach with an ultimate goal of achieving balance.

Dr Jannette Thompson MD

Photo_ Jannette_Thompson-MD_smallDr. Thompson studied under the renowned bioidentical hormone specialist Dr. Neal Rouzier, MD of WorldLink Medical completing her Hormone Optimization Training. She draws on her vast experience with complex patients with a special interest in a holistic approach to medicine. Widely read on such topics as chronic fatigue and autoimmune conditions. She is in good standing with the TruBalance Healthcare Canada BHRT Physicians Network.

Dr. Thompson studied medicine at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus in Jamaica, graduating in 1994. She worked locally as an intern and medical officer from 1995 to 1999, then migrated to Canada 1999. Dr. Thompson was accepted to the Ontario International Medical Graduate Program from 2000 – 2002. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto 2002 – 2004. Since 2004 she has worked in different medical practices located in the communities of Scarborough, Brampton, and North York. Dr. Thompson now practices privately with Bioidentical Hormones for men & women at The Markham Natural Health Centre

Dr. Thompson draws on the strength & experience of dealing with patients from a wide variety of demographics. A high proportion of her patients have been Spanish and Latin American descent. She speaks English & Spanish fluently.

Her training in the Optimization of Bioidentical Hormone Therapy allows her to apply her skills in menstrual and post menstrual, thyroid imbalance, chronic fatigue and depression among other conditions for women along with training in Andropause (the male menopause) for men.
She is married with 2 teenage children and enjoys the arts, gardening, cooking, reading and long walks.

Sandra Penafiel

As a member of the MNHC Naturopathic Clinic team Sandra’s role as Office Manager is to handle patient inquires, book appointments for our practitioners as well as handling general office duties.

Sandra also plays an instrumental role in the management of our Naturopathic Dispensary, ensuring it is always fully stocked for our patients. She is knowledgeable about the various products available through the Dispensary and is able to assist patients and clients with any questions they might have about the various products available
